Meet the Team
Linda Cone, an Illinois native, founded the Cone Team with husband, Marlin, in 1993. Her professional designations include CRP (Certified Relocation Professional), GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute), LTG (Leadership Training Graduate), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), CSP (Certified Sales Professional), RRC (Residential Relocation Certification),and Licensed REALTOR® in Missouri. She and Marlin have two sons & daughter-in-laws living in Houston & Seattle, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren living in Houston, and two grandchildren living in Seattle. Linda was honored to be a featured professional in Broker Agent Magazine.Linda was named 2009 Salesperson Of The Year for by the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors®. This honor was bestowed upon Linda for her dedication to the Association on the local, state and national level. She has served as Chairperson for the Northland Region for two years, been on various task forces and committees and attended the National Conventions.
In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Heartland Habitat for Humanity organization and volunteered a day to help build a home while attending the National Convention (National Association of Realtors®) in San Diego. She is active on several committees at her church and in her community.

Marlin Cone, an Iowa native, is co-founder of the Cone Team with his wife, Linda. His professional designations include ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and he acts as broker for Real Property Teams of K.C., L.L.C. Marlin is also a licensed REALTOR® in Kansas and Missouri and graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in agricultural economics and Stanford University’s The Executive Program for Small Business. Drawing from his corporate experience, Marlin is a leader in real estate in the K.C. area and is active in several committees that shape the industry. He is also a co-founder of FloorPlanOnline.com, one of the listing tools the Cone Team uses.

Ana Royal, a native of Germany, joined the Team in May 2001 as a buyer and listing specialist licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. Ana is married to Ray Staton and has one son and a granddaughter residing in Massachusetts. She is involved in her community and this commitment is reflected in her client relationships. Always listening and attending to every detail, Ana’s clients know from the start that they will be well represented.
