Brimming With Blooms

The words green, eco-friendly, sustainable, and organic are common to most people’s vocabularies these days, especially as they relate to architecture, home products, and the fresh fruits and vegetables they buy. But have you ever thought about how these terms apply to the flowers and bouquets you bring home from the florist or grocery store? Chances are, you haven’t. After all, we don’t eat our flowers, so many of us don’t think twice about whether they’re organic.
