Small Plates, Big Flavors

Curiosity for cooking is often fueled by travel. Even if your trip entails trekking through the pages of a book, the introduction to new worlds is revelatory—and, often, gustatory. Cooking can take you to many countries, through unknown languages, exotic ingredients, and foreign flavors. When I don’t have the opportunity to jump on a plane, I simply put on an apron.
