#61 Hiking in White Aloe Creek Nature Trail

No admission fee, great exercise and natural beauty. What more could one ask for as they exercise and take in nature at the same time? There are two trails, Whitetail and Kate. The Whitetail is the most aggressive and provides the most exercise, while the Kate provides the drama and an experience of a waterfall, splashing the limestone rock outcroppings. You will see plenty of wildlife to include turkey, deer, birds and scampering squirrels and chipmunks. No pets are allowed on the trail. Take a water bottle and allow about 1 hour to do both trails. Take Mo. 9 highway to Parkville and then go to 12th street and turn going east to the Park University ball fields. Park along here and begin the trails starting at the Nature Sanctuary signs.
