# 50 Kansas City Repertory…A Christmas Carol

Charles Dicken’s classic, A Christmas Carol, opened for the first time on the Rep’s stage in 1981. It has played each year to thrilled audiences, except last year (2009) and is BACK again this year for it’s annual run. The message remains the same: a money hoarding businessman in England gets really scared as three ghosts visit him in the dead of night and he turns over a new leaf to save the life of another. It is a story of spiritual rebirth, if you will. Some actors have performed in this show for years and new actors are being incorporated into the production from UMKC drama department. For tickets go to www.kcrep.org or call 816-235-2700. Performances begin Nov. 26 and run thru Dec. 26th
