Missouri Town is a recreation of life as it was in Missouri in 1855. It is located at Fleming Park, owned and operated by the Jackson county Parks and Recreation Department. An entire village of 1855 is recreated and staffed in period costume. Each fall, a festival is presented offering arts, crafts, period foods, and quilt displays. Special entertainment is also available so check the website at www.jacksongov.org/missouritown. The first weekend of October is host to the Fall festival. Call 816-503-4860 for times.
