#12 Watkins Mill State Park

The woolen mill, located in the state park, is the only mill in the USA with its 19th century machinery still intact. The Watkins family had many business adventures and this is just one. Tours are given of this National Landmark. Durning the summer weekends , the living history farm program offers visitors a chance to see a 1870’s family live, work and play. Combine a bit of history with fun and enjoy fishing, picnicing, and swimming at Williams Creek Lake. Want to stay over? The nearby camp grounds offer nearly 100 wooded sites.
